Character Counts

Objective: Create a 30 - 60 second commercial on one of the Character Counts words. Storyboard a positive situation that would explain to other Jepson students how to be one of these words. Shoot video with classmates for depicting the situation and how to positively show it. Click here to download the storyboard worksheet. Link to page of a example of a storyboard.

Approval of subject by teacher:

Completed storyboard – with script if necessary

Schedule complete – actors (with Talent Release Forms signed), cameras reserved, location

Filming complete with all necessary takes

Editing

·        Cutting into segments

·        Adding titles and credits

·        FX, music and sound effects

Fits time frame – no less than 60 seconds and no more than 3 minutes

Peer viewing done by: Fellow student views film for errors

Render movie to appropriate format

Self-assessment of project

Submit project to teacher via Video Production Rubric– notify of location of file
