I created the curriculum for my Computer Literacy classes. Included were sections on History of computers, how they work (via Intel curriculum), parts of computers, basic word processing, internet searching, copyright laws, multimedia presentations and anything else I can fit into one semester!

Including girls in my classes is important. They have an important role to play with today's computers. They bring a creativeness to our projects.

Using digital video cameras, still digital cameras and a few computers, the students got VERY creative making videos about the life at Jepson middle school. (still shot of student using camera)

Keyboarding isn't the only thing I include in my typing classes. We also work on proper letter layout and report layout - half the work is in the presentation!

Student web pages are a wonderful way to publish ideas, projects and celebrations. Teachers can create them in a day, helping to organize their classrooms.
